School Council

The SCHOOL COUNCIL provides advice to the school and school district on any matter which relates to school operations including the school’s philosophy, plans, and instructional programs.

School Council consists of the principal, teachers, and parents of our school community. They provide important contributions to the education of students here at Medicine Hat Christian School. School Council supports staff and the principal by providing input into the daily operation of the school. School Council members are part of the direction setting and visioning for the school including programming, curriculum, and budgeting.

Our School Council is also part of the Medicine Hat SD76 Council of School Councils. This council gives input on School Board policies, plans, and programs.

We meet once a month on the first Thursday of each month at 7:15 p.m.at the school. Attending our School Council meetings regularly means that as a parent, you can keep up to date on what is happening at the school. It is also an avenue to provide feedback and advice to the principal on educational programming and the future direction of our school. This a great way to meet and build relationships with other parents. We look forward to having you join us!
