Richelle Thomas, Principal at Crestwood STEM School will retire at the end of the school year. We are grateful for the contributions Richelle has made within MHPSD, serving as an administrator at Alexandra Middle School, George Davison School and Crestwood STEM School. In her role at Crestwood, she has worked to build the STEM focus from the ground up, modelling innovation, integrity, passion and curiosity through her leadership.

In her own words, Richelle shared:

Supporting students as they grow into thoughtful learners, collaborators, and critical thinkers has been one of the greatest joys of my career.

I feel deeply grateful to have worked alongside such dedicated staff who bring purpose and heart to their work every day. Together, we have continued to build a strong STEM foundation and a learning environment where students can thrive. Crestwood is a special place because of the people within it, students, staff, and families alike.

What I will treasure most are the relationships and connections formed along the way. The trust, support, and partnership of our parent community have meant so much to me, and I am sincerely thankful to have shared this journey with you.

As I look ahead, I am excited to spend more time with my family, especially my grandbabies, and to take advantage of opportunities to travel and explore. Life is for living, and I am looking forward to this next chapter.

Join us as we congratulate Richelle on her retirement.
