Vice Principal Announcement | Jarrett Bardal
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jarrett Bardal as Vice-Principal of Hub Virtual School and Pathways School. Jarrett will step into the role beginning Sept 2026. He holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta through the Medicine Hat College and is currently completing a Master of Education through Yorkville University.
Jarrett brings twelve years of K–12 experience as a teacher with Medicine Hat Public School Division. He is currently serving as an Optimal Learning Coach, where he supports teachers, administrators, and system leaders through professional learning, collaborative coaching, and curriculum development. His previous experience includes roles as a Classroom Support Teacher and classroom teacher at both Medicine Hat High School and Dr. Roy Wilson Learning Centre, where he worked closely with staff and students to provide flexible programming, differentiated instruction, and pathways to high school completion. Throughout his career, Jarrett has demonstrated a strong commitment to inclusive, student‑centred learning and collaborative problem solving.
Jarrett’s leadership philosophy is grounded in strong beliefs, “I value environments where instructional leadership is rooted in meaningful relationships and direct engagement with students and staff,” he shared. This approach aligns closely with the unique learning models and responsive supports offered through Hub Virtual School and Pathways School.
Jarrett Bardal will be a tremendous asset to Hub Virtual School, Pathways School and outreach programs. We congratulate him on this appointment and wish him success in his new role.
